All that is new is well-renovated from the old. The late Gothic residential building on Suur-Karja Street is a living example of this. We have completely emptied the house from the inside and rebuilt it to meet the expectations of a modern residential building. After thorough restoration, using the best materials, we have created a first-class apartment building. Out of respect for the old town, we have achieved a new level of detail precision and thoroughness. We believe that the urban residents moving into Uus-Karja Residence would have done exactly the same in our place. A broad perspective and discerning taste oblige. Us too. Custom-made solutions created according to the vision of Estonia's top interior architect Aet Piel have thoroughly transformed the building. The medieval wealthy urban citizen's apartment building is now a spacious and logical living environment. Uus-Karja Residence is not a museum that is interesting to visit, but a grand home where it is pleasant to live. Solutions of this level are practically impossible to find in the old town. Naturally, the building features all new engineering solutions, soundproof windows, apartment-specific heat recovery ventilation, and underfloor heating. As a completely novel solution, an elevator has also been installed in the building. In essence, this is the newest building in Tallinn's old town. Literally.
