8 Sales Tips for Real Estate Agents
We shared in the previous post six sales tips that you've certainly thought about by now, and I believe many of you have already put them into practice. Here are eight more tips that will definitely help you build a successful career.
1. Commit yourself
If you don't want to be an ordinary real estate agent with average results, then you need to give your maximum effort. No more, no less. Provide the best service you can. Do everything to find buyers or tenants for your property. Give your client as much good free advice as you can. Solve your client's problems and negotiate the best deal for them.
2. Help people
First give, then you will receive. This principle applies absolutely in every field of work and everywhere. If you go to work in the morning with a sincere desire to help other people with your knowledge, skills, and contacts, then things will start going well for you too. People will always turn to you when they need help with real estate matters.
3. Listen to people
The best sales specialists will certainly tell you that the secret of successful sales is the ability to listen and remember. Listening shows, first of all, that you care, and secondly, it helps you understand the client's true wishes and needs. Sometimes it happens that a client simply needs support and collaboration, nothing more.
4. Offer your client a clear solution to their problem
Sometimes a deal is prevented from closing by just a small problem that has remained unsolved in the client's mind. Find out what it is and offer a concrete solution using your knowledge and skills. And the deal is closed.
5. Make yourself known
No one knows you exist if you don't make yourself known. Advertise your services and be visible. Once initial contact with a client is established, keep in touch regularly and show that you care. Of course, there is a risk of becoming annoying, but we believe you will sense that boundary well. If you call a client and you are genuinely interested in how they've been doing, then they will surely be happy to hear from you and you can continue discussing the cooperation.

6. Don't talk about sales
If you tell a client that you have sold such and such apartments and houses, they will immediately suspect that you just want to close a sale with them too, not actually help them.
7. Don't argue
We believe that sometimes you have a terrible temptation to argue because clearly you know more about the subject than the client. But! If you are right, what do you think the client will feel? Not very pleasant, right? Try to find out why the client holds a certain opinion, because the better you understand them, the better solution you will reach together.
8. Action leads to success
The more calls you make and events you attend and the more people you meet and subsequently make sales calls to, the better your sales results will be. A sleeping cat won't catch a mouse!
Don't be shy, that won't get you anywhere. Be genuine, honest, and a brave communicator. Everyone would want to use the services of such a broker!
