Global technology company Wise is moving its largest office with 2,000 employees to a business quarter being developed by Invego at the corner of Volta and Kopli streets. A significant portion of Wise's global development activities takes place in Tallinn, and the new location, set to be completed in 2025, will support the company's sustainable growth.

According to Liis Reisner, Wise's work environment project manager, the new office meets the needs of Wise's growing team and supports the company's development both in Estonia and globally: "We are very excited and want to create a truly innovative and inclusive environment in Krull quarter that supports our ways of working and meets the desires and needs of today's workers." Reisner adds that although Wise's teams operate across offices and the company's 10 million active customers are located around the world, Wise's roots are firmly in Estonia: "It is truly a proud feeling that we can build Wise right here and contribute to the recognition of Estonia's technology sector around the world."

According to Invego's CEO Kristjan-Thor Vähi, it is excellent news for both the country and especially the city of Tallinn that the globally-operating Wise is further strengthening its presence in Estonia and building its new Tallinn office in Krull quarter. "Invego has been entrusted with giving this decision a precise geographical dimension and creating a top-level modern and comprehensive environment for Wise's new office," Vähi commented, emphasizing that the central keywords for the entire business quarter being developed are, in addition to innovation and sustainability, the architectural ambition that is characteristic of Invego.

The business quarter being created on the site of the former Franz Krull machine factory is located in close proximity to Noblessner, Volta quarter, and Telliskivi creative city. The jewel of the area is a former limestone industrial building with a gross area of approximately 30,000 m² that will be thoroughly renovated and will house Wise's office. A pedestrian street running through the entire quarter and a central park area will also be created in the new quarter. Great emphasis is placed on a network of active mobility paths and car-free accessibility in the development. Underground parking will be built in the quarter for active mobility vehicles, including bicycles and cargo bikes, as well as for cars.

Invego is investing a total of 75 million euros in the construction of the business quarter at the corner of Volta and Kopli streets. The architect for the second phase of the quarter is renowned architect Martin Aunin, the main contractor is NOBE, and the final completion of the development project is scheduled for the first half of 2025.
