A concert bar called Gläm opened in Telliskivi's G-building, created by experienced figures in Estonia's restaurant and entertainment landscape, Paap Toonela and Kristi Punnisson. Gläm can accommodate nearly 300 guests, whose evening begins with food and naturally evolves into a lively celebration.

Gläm will certainly become a completely new attraction for Telliskivi, bringing fresh energy both in terms of events and visitor demographics. We can accommodate 280 seated guests and 400-500 people on concert evenings," promised Kristi Punnisson, who has worked in the events industry for more than 20 years.

The most important element of the concert bar, spread across two floors, is the stage, which is visible from every corner of the room. Gläm's interior design combines century-old limestone walls, dark wood, cozy bookshelves, unexpected decorative textiles and design elements, offering an impressive eclectic spatial experience.

According to Katrina Šokman, head of Telliskivi TLN's rental relations, Telliskivi is becoming a place where work, life and leisure meet on an entirely new level. "We're bringing companies here whose symbiosis creates more than just a business environment – it shapes a community that bustles from morning hours into late evening. Gläm is a great example of how food, entertainment and creative energy can come together in one space, offering added value to the entire district's development. Together with the restaurant Moon already established in the same building, a new centre of catering and entertainment is being created in the district."

A glamorous pub that brings Tallinn a new dimension

According to its creators, Gläm is a glamorous pub – a place where you can enjoy French brasserie classics in an Estonian twist, plus an extensive selection of drinks and live music. It's an experience that grows from dinner into a celebration. "People no longer want to wait until midnight to go somewhere. The age of nightclubs is, in a sense, over. People want to entertain themselves more refinedly. One nice dinner that naturally evolves into something more festive is the ideal combination," explained Punnisson, describing where the recognition and perception came from that exactly this kind of place was missing from Tallinn.

Estonia's most famous artists could perform on Gläm's stage wall-to-wall. "From Swingers to Terminators, from James Werts to Koit Toome," illustrates Punnisson. "The stage is attractive enough to accommodate many different program variations"

Two experiences, one vision

Kristi Punnisson has been at the forefront of Estonian event organization for over 20 years. Under her guidance, legendary party venues and restaurants such as Chicago, Club von Überblingen, Vatican, Bastioni Aed, Urban Bar and Clazz have been created and developed. She has created and managed venues that have defined an era and brought new winds and trends to Estonian entertainment culture.

Paap Toonela's name is well known in the restaurant world – several beloved restaurants have achieved success with his involvement, including Pööbel, Stalker and St Vitus, which have become undisputed favorites among Tallinn's food enthusiasts. Toonela's strength is his ability to build places that offer both good food and social value.

"Our backgrounds complement each other – Kristi knows how to create exceptional experiences and I'm strong on the kitchen and beverage side. From this partnership comes Gläm – something that hasn't been seen before in Tallinn's night and food culture," said Paap Toonela.

Telliskivi – Tallinn's new heart

Gläm is born at a time and place where the entire urban space is buzzing with change. Telliskivi is currently Tallinn's fastest-growing district, where the creative energy of the creative city and Telliskivi TLN's business district developments create a unique synergy together. The district's advantage is Tallinn's most important transport hub, the Baltic Station, which provides easy access across all of Tallinn and throughout Estonia.

"While the city centre and old town are developing rather slowly and steadily, Telliskivi has experienced and is experiencing explosive development. For us, it was immediately clear that this is where a new level of Tallinn's restaurant and entertainment world must be created," added Punnisson.

Gläm is located in a historic, fully renovated G-building where historic limestone walls and arched windows have been preserved. The building's architectural solution was completed in cooperation with Peeter Pere Architects.
