The Cornerstone of Grünberg House Was Laid in Tallinn's Old Town
On March 27th, the cornerstone was ceremoniously laid for a new residential building rising in Tallinn's city center – Grünbergi House. The five-story building, developed by Capital Mill, will bring 17 apartments to the market.
"Grünbergi House is one of the most exciting developments in our portfolio. It's exactly the kind of house where I would see myself as a homeowner," said Kaarel Loigu, CEO of Capital Mill OÜ. "The development is located with excellent accessibility, yet in a quiet part of the city center. We have focused on family apartments, which are always in short supply on the market."
Grünbergi House is located on a quiet side street in Tallinn's city center – Jakobi 17 – where everything needed for living is conveniently nearby. The apartments range in size from 2 to 4 rooms, suitable for both smaller households and families with children. The area is home to several educational institutions, playgrounds, sports facilities, and recreational opportunities.
The sale of the development is handled by Uus Maa Five Stars, whose board member Eleri Kerde said: "great attention has been paid to energy efficiency and sustainability in the design of the development. The building will achieve A-energy class, efficient district heating will be used for heating, and solar panels will be installed on the roof. The apartments feature radiant floor heating and a private green area is located in the courtyard. Additionally, residents have access to an underground parking garage and spacious balconies."
Construction work is being carried out by Unico Eesti OÜ, which has extensive experience in implementing quality and modern residential projects. Construction began in October 2024 and the apartments are planned to be completed by the end of 2025. The architectural solution for the building was created by Panda Architecture Bureau. Keskkonnaprojekt OÜ was responsible for design work and owner supervision is being conducted by Inseneribüroo Telora OÜ. Uus Maa Five Stars office has been engaged as a sales partner.
