Grand Kvissental Tartus

On January 23rd, the developer of Grand Kvissental, Domus Kinnisvara, concluded a general construction contract with the experienced construction company Dorpat Ehitus. Excavation work has already begun on the site, and as the general contractor, Dorpat Ehitus is concluding subcontracts to ensure smooth construction throughout the entire construction period.

"Choosing an experienced builder is one of the most important quality guarantees for a homebuyer. Dorpat Ehitus gives us as a developer confidence, primarily due to their experience, strong team, and excellent reputation in Tartu and South Estonia. For us, the builder is not merely a contractor, but a substantive partner. The right choice of builder helps ensure that homes are completed on time and meet both technical and aesthetic standards of today's high expectations of homebuyers," said Hubert Piikov, project manager of Grand Kvissental development at Domus Kinnisvara.

"Grand Kvissental is certainly one of the most prominent apartment building projects architecturally this year. The responsibility is great and planning the various construction phases has required thorough preliminary work. We have taken into account safe work organization and logical logistics, both in the first phase for future residents and during the second phase construction work. Dorpat Ehitus' extensive experience in the residential real estate sector creates the conditions for the excellent success of the project," added Erik Vares, executive director of Dorpat Ehitus.

"The start of construction is a concrete sign for buyers of any new development project that the project is moving forward and meets the necessary approvals and requirements. Often, the biggest hesitation among buyers is uncertainty about whether and when construction will actually begin. When a reservation has been made, but the project is not moving forward, it can create uncertainty. The start of construction gives the buyer the necessary sense of confidence," commented Elar Häidberg, sales partner of Grand Kvissental.

The Grand Kvissental development consists of four A-energy class residential buildings with a total of 50 new homes. The area around the buildings will be designed as a thoughtful and safe green space with a children's playground, rest areas, and a vegetable garden that residents can use jointly. Under the buildings, a special horse room is planned for washing and maintaining hobbies. The underground parking garage includes storage spaces for bikes and bicycle storage rooms. The first two apartment buildings will rise on the properties at Meruski 6 and Meruski 8/1 in the Kvissental city district, and completion is scheduled for spring 2027.
