Summer Home Office – a Pleasant Idea!
Warm and bright days are scarce in Estonia, which is why you need to make the most of every last summer day. This means that whenever possible, don't commute to the office, but instead set up a cozy summer office in your garden or countryside home.
Garden House
Have a small wooden garden house built or buy one. We guarantee that this home office will be so cozy that soon your neighbors won't be commuting to work either, but will get their own garden houses instead.
In a garden house, you don't even need to worry about electricity, because your laptop battery will last for hours and there's plenty of natural light.
The Smallest Room in an Old Farmhouse
Have you moved to an old farmhouse for the summer? Then you certainly have a cozy back room there that's currently completely empty. And doesn't its window have a view of the apple orchard? Set up your home office right in that small room.
When the work is done, you can close the door and get back to summer activities, without a single pen or computer screen reminding you of work worries.
An Old Table and a Modern Chair
We believe you have a small table at home or in your cottage that isn't being used properly. You can turn that into an office desk now, because a laptop and a couple of sheets of paper don't take up much space. Just make sure the table legs are the right height. For a refresh, you can paint the table with a nice gray or white color.
A modern and comfortable chair pairs well with an old table. You might be tempted to work on a beautiful old wooden chair, but your back, neck, and other parts will thank you later for spending your work days in the right ergonomic position.

Vintage Writing Desk
Buy an old writing desk for your home office that looks so cool you could get it published in a magazine! Your mood improves every time you walk through the door, and work just flies by! We've tried this ourselves.
Fresh Flowers on the Desk
This is our productivity secret. Fresh field or garden flowers create a pleasant atmosphere.
Move Your Office to the Garden
If you don't have room for an office at home, on nice days you can also set up your workspace under an apple tree. Just make sure the direct sun doesn't shine on you or your computer screen, otherwise you won't get any work done.
Put Your Attic to Use
Many houses have an attic with a pleasant atmosphere that is completely unused. Often there's even a dormer window there, so you won't have any problems with light. If you have such an attic, consider this option.
If a home office isn't right for you after all, then you'll find a large selection of commercial properties throughout Estonia >>
