Simple Feng Shui Tips That Create Pleasant Energy at Home
Feng shui is a Chinese method of harmonious space organization that is more than 4000 years old. Its basic idea is that as harmonious as your home is, so is your life: health, finances, relationships, career. If life energy (chi) flows freely through your home without obstacles, then it does so in your daily life as well.
If you're not familiar with feng shui and fear it's just another esoteric nonsense, we can reassure you – feng shui principles create a better atmosphere in your home using common sense and create an organized and pleasant living space. It's simply nice to be in such a home. And who wouldn't say no to the extra bonus of success in personal life and work, better health and relationships that comes with it!
Feng shui can be applied in any space and doesn't require in-depth knowledge. It's enough to know some basic principles, which we'll show you right away.
The entrance and front door are very important
Energy enters your home through the front door. Is your entrance in order, or is it more like a storage room where stacks of things are waiting to be taken to the cottage or trash, so that good energy can't get past them? Keep your entrance tidy and clean to welcome both guests and good energy.

Let energy flow
Energy must be able to enter from the front door, but it shouldn't rush through the home, it should flow calmly. This means avoid having two doors directly opposite each other that lead out of the house. If this is the case, you can stop the energy with a beautiful patterned carpet.
The front door should be clean, in working order, and its hinges shouldn't squeak.
The bathroom should be located as far as possible from the front door, as it's also a place where energy escapes from the home.
Energy shouldn't get stuck in dark corners. To counter this, light up and use the corners. Place, for example, a beautiful vase or a seating area there.
Also avoid narrow corridors, as energy gets stuck there too and can't circulate peacefully through the apartment or house.
Excessive clutter
Messy shelves, overstuffed baseboards and similar things shouldn't be present in other rooms either, not just the entrance. Besides the fact that a messy room isn't pleasant to look at, energy also gets trapped in piles of clutter.
Rooms filled with unused items affect mental clarity and emotions negatively. Isn't it true that in a tidy and clean room you're in a much better mood and your mind seems clearer? In a messy room, nothing flows and your mood is bad too.

Bedroom
According to feng shui, the bedroom is one of the most important places in the house, as you spend a lot of time there.
It's very important that your bed has a headboard, which symbolizes a sense of security. The door shouldn't be directly opposite the foot of the bed, but rather on a side wall. However, you should be able to see the door from the bed.
The bed shouldn't be positioned with one side against the wall and there should be equal space on both sides of the bed, so energy can reach both sleepers. Otherwise, one partner may feel trapped or suffocated in the relationship. If it's a single person's bedroom, a bed pushed against the wall won't allow anyone new to enter their life.
Nightstands, lamps, etc. should be in even numbers in the bedroom.
A very big taboo in the bedroom is arrow or spear-shaped objects, as they symbolize bad energy or bad situations that pierce into your life like arrows.
All kinds of electronics – TV, computer, phone – also have no place in the bedroom. The bedroom is for rest and sleep or enjoying each other's company.
Choose pictures for your bedroom walls that have the mood and energy you'd like to bring into your own life.
Mirrors
Mirrors can increase the amount of natural light in a room, but be mindful of what the mirrors enlarge or double. Is it unpaid bills and a dusty vacuum cleaner or rather a beautiful view.
Leaky faucets or plumbing
Water comes to our home and leaves through sewage. Water symbolizes purification and letting go. But it also symbolizes money – if your faucet drips or your toilet tank leaks, money drips out of your bank account the same way.
