Prepare Your Home for School!
As sad as it is, summer will soon be over and autumn is waiting at the door. By now, store shelves are filled with colorful school supplies and shopping for school items is in full swing. This hectic time will soon be here. But is your home ready for all of this, or does it still carry the blissful feeling of summer vacation?
It's time to bring out your fall-winter wardrobe again and check whether all the clothes still fit, are in good condition, or need some light maintenance.
Good tip! If you want to avoid clothing-related arguments every morning, let your child pick out clothes for the entire week. Hang them on one clothing rack as complete outfits and attach a note with the day of the week to each set.
Review desk drawers together, clean the desk surface, and check that everything needed for schoolwork is available. The most important items are: a chair suited to their needs, an additional mat for the desk, a well-lit desk lamp, an ergonomic mouse pad, and a trash bin.
Now it's time again when one child has soccer practice, another has figure skating, you have a choir, and your partner has a photography club. To keep all the logistics in order, you need a planner. Find a visible place in your home, hang up a cork board or a calendar with a writing surface, and this way you can be sure that everyone gets to the right places at the right times!
