Reterra Estate Started Construction of the Second Phase of Raemõisa Residential Quarter
The first three apartment buildings of the Raemõisa new development being built in Rae municipality will be handed over to new residents at the end of April, and real estate developer Reterra Estate began construction of the second phase in early March.
Nearly 200 new residents will move to Raemõisa, which is rising within a three-minute drive from Tallinn city limits, this spring, and the 3 buildings with 73 apartments built in the first phase will soon be completed. Construction of the second phase began in early March with two apartment buildings. The next 46 apartments will be completed in spring 2024. In total, approximately 300 apartments are planned for the Raemõisa residential area.
According to Kaspar Markus, sales development manager at Reterra Estate, over 30% of the apartments in the second phase have already been sold, which despite somewhat difficult market conditions means that the location, environment, and quality of homes being built in Raemõisa have struck the right target audience.
„Rae municipality is a very progressive, youthful and rapidly developing municipality whose population is growing rapidly. We are creating homes there for those who value nature, greenery and privacy highly but at the same time need good infrastructure, convenient access and proximity to Tallinn," commented Kaspar Markus.
Tarmo Roos, CEO of Mapri Ehitus, the builder of the Raemõisa residential quarter, confirmed that quality residential development does not stop and a developer with a reasonable price and good reputation sells well. „From the builder's perspective, we use flow construction in Raemõisa, just as we did when building Lumina Homes in Tartu and Raadimõisa apartments. This means that the construction pace is reasonable, we can move the same type of work to the next building and work management is faster. This affects both the speed of completion, quality and the affordability we offer," added Roos.
The Raemõisa homes have been designed in collaboration with PIN Architects, the buildings contain two- to five-room apartments and all apartments have a balcony or terrace. A-energy class buildings are equipped with solar panels. The Raemõisa new development is energy efficient and brings smaller maintenance and upkeep costs. Sufficient space has been planned between the buildings, which ensures privacy for residents, but also play and rest areas and convenient parking options. A nearby cycling path encourages movement both on foot and by bike.
The area has several schools and kindergartens, sports facilities and leisure opportunities. Raemõisa is only 3.5 km from Tallinn city limits and is easily accessible from the Tallinn-Tartu highway.
