Regati Quarter Opens Its Doors – Liven Invites Visitors to a Mini Fair
On Wednesday, November 13th, the first mini fair will be held in the Regati district developed by Liven, during which ten new apartments will be open to visitors. The purpose of the event is to provide an overview of the development's current status and offer visitors the opportunity to familiarize themselves with a waterfront living environment.
"The Regati development has reached a stage where we can invite people and show what a modern living environment looks like today," said Sander Treijar, Head of Development Projects at Liven. "The mini fair offers the opportunity to move from one apartment to another, see different solutions, and get a sense of how the district functions."
Visitors will have access to two fully furnished model homes and eight partially furnished apartments. All of them have kitchens with appliances and furnished living rooms, which give an impression of the atmosphere of a completed home.
The interior design of the apartments features furniture from Softrend and contemporary art from Artrovert Gallery. Works by Andro Kööbi, Jaanika Tedresaare, Lauris Noorits, and Kristel Karu are on display.
"We decided to collaborate with local creators to bring both design and art to Regati homes. Our interior architects have used Softrend sofas before and they have always received good feedback from homebuyers," explained Sander Treijar. The collaboration with artists is a first for Liven – each home has been selected with an artwork through Artrovert Gallery that complements the character of the space and creates a coherence.
"Regati homes are so dignified that each one requires a work with a corresponding character," said Siim Raie, founder and curator of Artrovert Gallery. "It took some time, but in the end, each home with its own character also got a work of art with its own character on the wall."
In addition to the apartments, visitors can explore the Regati community and hobby spaces, which are shared by residents. The community room features a shared kitchen, training area, and shower rooms, while the hobby room has tools and a washbasin for maintaining sports equipment.
The Regati development is located at the end of the Pirita promenade, on a previously unused site, where a residential district consisting of seven three-story buildings will be built. In total, 220 apartments and several commercial spaces will be completed, some of which are still available to homebuyers and entrepreneurs. The architectural solution was created by Salto architects Ralf Lõoke and Maarja Kask.
The development has focused on energy efficiency and sustainability – the project is seeking LEED Platinum certification. White roofs, rain gardens, and sound-dampening structures are planned to ensure a quiet and comfortable living environment.
The Regati mini fair takes place on November 13th from 9:00–16:00 in Pirita, at the Regati development.
