Rapla's Only New Development Ülejõe Villa Celebrated Important Milestone at Roof-Raising Ceremony
The roof truss assembly of Ülejõe Villa, which is rising on the bank of the Vigala River in Rapla, celebrated an important milestone in a project that is today the only new development under construction in Rapla town.
The sale of the two-story building with 10 apartments has progressed rapidly – to date, eight out of ten homes have been sold or reserved. According to Henel Aava, an LVM Real Estate broker handling the building's sales, this shows that demand for quality new homes in Rapla remains strong.
"Interest has been very high. Among the buyers are people from Rapla as well as young families coming from the Tallinn direction, who value Rapla's quieter living environment and good connection to the capital," said Aava. According to him, the price per square meter of Ülejõe Villa apartments reaches nearly 3,500 euros, which is a strong price level even in comparison to the Tallinn market.
Ülejõe Villa is being built in Rapla on Ülejõe Street on a plot on the bank of the Vigala River, where the River Guest House previously stood. The building is characterized by modern solution apartments, spacious balconies and terraces, and a landscaped courtyard area that blends with the river bend. The building is scheduled to be completed in autumn 2026.
"We wanted to create a small, modern and quality living environment in Rapla that fits into the riverside setting and offers people something different from a typical apartment building," said Rain Allikmäe, developer of Ülejõe Villa.
One of the building's developers and builders is Mivo Ehitus, a Rapla company with more than 20 years of construction sector experience. The same company developed and built Rapla's first post-independence A-energy class apartment building on Mahlamäe Street during 2020–2022.
