PHOTOS: Bombay Club, a High-End Entertainment Venue, Opens Its Doors in Tallinn
This week, Bombay Club, offering high-class entertainment, opens its doors to visitors on Rataskaevu Street in Tallinn's Old Town, with the total investment including a boutique hotel to be completed at the end of the year exceeding 50 million euros.
"In the world today, there are two types of successful businesses – on one hand, those who appeal to very wide masses with affordable prices, and on the other hand, those who can offer truly first-class quality. Bombay's unique concept combines a selection of distinctive opportunities for leisure tailored to the most demanding taste," said Maarja Pärt, a member of the board of the Estonian company Bombay Group.
Located on the second and third floors of the club building, which dates from the late 19th century and has been meticulously renovated in close cooperation with heritage conservationists, is Bombay Club, offering playful entertainment with a limited membership, featuring 11 gaming tables located in its various halls. The entire club area is completely cashless, but at the same time offers guests a wide selection of modern payment options from classic payment cards to e-banking and e-wallet payments.
On the ground floor of the building is Shang Shi, an Asian fine dining restaurant offering delicacies from the Guangdong region, open to all visitors, and on the highest floor you will find The Peacock Lounge cocktail bar welcoming guests aged at least 21, and Velvet, a music club open during late evening hours. As a tribute to the legendary bar Rebaseurg, which operated in the basement of the same building in the restaurant DuNord in the second half of the previous century, you will now find an elegant whisky and wine bar and cigar room Fox Den in that same location.
"Successful people already have all the "necessary things" and they especially value and in a sense also collect experiences and emotions. This pearl located in the heart of the Old Town will host both residents of the capital and many visitors to the city and will become, from day one, a completely separate reason to visit Tallinn," Maarja Pärt is convinced.
The second part of the complete concept, a small luxury hotel located in an adjacent building along with several more restaurants, spa and other top-level guest services, will be completed at the end of this year, and by that time over 300 jobs will be created.
Bombay Group has grown out of the international Yolo Group, which is headquartered in Estonia and has more than twenty years of experience in the gaming and entertainment industry and in the field of information technology.
