New Heights in Haabersti: Fund Ehitus Begins Construction of the Region's Tallest Apartment Building

Between Rocca al Mare and Õismäe, near the Haabersti roundabout, the AL MARE tower is being built, which will become the tallest residential building in Haabersti – the building will have 22 floors and rise approximately 90 meters above sea level.

The building is designed by talented architects from KOKO architectural bureau, and it is being built and developed by experienced Fund Ehitus. The height of the AL MARE tower, its distinctive grid-based facade solution, and the architecton planned for the building's roof – a sculpture-like crown – make the tower a new landmark in the area.

The AL MARE tower will have 100 apartments, 12 office spaces, and 2 service spaces. Depending on the floor and apartment, the views extend from Harku's greenery across Kopli Bay to Tallinn's Old Town churches and city center towers. Apartments with panoramic views planned for the upper floors are more than just a touch of luxury. However, the views are not reserved only for residents of the higher floors – all building users have access to the viewing platform built on the building's roof.

Tall buildings help reduce urban sprawl, people's transportation needs, and construction at the expense of green areas, which is why living in a tall building can often have a smaller footprint than in low-rise areas. The design of the AL MARE tower has taken into account environmentally sustainable solutions – the calculated energy efficiency rating meets class A, solar panels will be installed, and the heating solution is based partly on geothermal energy.

The AL MARE tower will be completed by the end of 2026 and pre-sales have begun.
