MyFitness Opens Its South Estonia Representative Club in Tartu Shopping Center
MyFitness is opening South Estonia's most modern sports club on the second floor of Tartu Kaubamaja this autumn, which thanks to several new concepts will significantly expand the region's training and wellness service options.
The club opening on the second floor of the Tartu Kaubamaja building will span more than 1500 square meters and will become Estonia's most modern MyFitness. "Active lifestyles remain trendy. We are opening our new South Estonia club for the autumn season and it will be our twentieth club in Estonia and the fourth club in Tartu," comments MyFitness CEO Tiina Matikainen, recalling that the constantly expanding chain last opened a new sports club in December of last year in the Volta quarter in Tallinn.
The MyFitness manager promises that the new club will offer several training and recovery options that have been less accessible in the South Estonia region so far. "The world of training is constantly seeing new and exciting trends emerging. So we are opening Hot Studio in Tartu for the first time, where you can practice hot yoga which has gained popularity all over the world, as well as other workouts that take place in a high temperature environment, and Tartu's long-awaited Fusion Pilates reformer studio," describes Matikainen and emphasizes that of course the new club also features a top-level equipped gym. In addition to training formats, the plan is to emphasize recovery and wellness, the club will include a Recovery Zone area that offers diverse recovery options, including hydromassage chairs and foam rolling. As an innovation, the selection of services is planned to include a trendy Red Light Therapy cabin, which helps care for skin wellness and contributes to the body's overall recovery. Before or after training, visitors will be able to enjoy refreshing and healthy drinks at the MyFitness smoothie bar.
According to Tartu Kaubamaja CEO Kristel Liivapuu, MyFitness's arrival is a logical step in the center's development. "Tartu Kaubamaja has been a central place in the city center for years where you can take care of necessary everyday errands. The opening of MyFitness further strengthens this role, bringing a modern and easily accessible sports club to the city center and giving the customer a better opportunity to conveniently combine training with other everyday tasks. Cooperation with MyFitness supports our goal of shaping Tartu Kaubamaja into a convenient community center where everything you need is within reach. We believe that the new sports club is an important addition to all of Tartu," says Liivapuu.
