Merivälja Realestate OÜ concluded a contract with construction company Rand & Tuulberg to build a new medical center of approximately 7800 square meters on Merivälja Road. The new building will be completed in the summer of 2025.

“The planning process, which has taken several years, has been successfully completed and we are pleased to confirm that the construction contract for the new business building focused on a medical center has now been signed and work has begun,” said Tõnu Kõuhkna, board member of the building developer and owner Merivälja Realestate OÜ. According to him, this is good news especially for the residents of Pirita, Merivälja and Viimsi, for whom the availability of nearby medical services will increase significantly.

“We have abandoned our original plan to conclude a contract with a single anchor tenant for the entire building and instead taken the path of concluding direct contracts with companies in the medical field. Interest has been great from the beginning, as both the location and the building concept are appealing to the sector,” explained the developer.

“This will be a building providing necessary public services, the construction of which takes into account the special needs required for a medical center,” commented Lauri Matteus, construction manager at construction company Rand & Tuulberg. The author of the building's architectural solution is Kalle Vellevoog from the architectural bureau JVR.

Merivälja Realestate OÜ is building on the property at Merivälja Road 33 a total of approximately 4500m2 of rental space for business and medical services and 107 parking spaces, plus an additional 64 parking spaces for public use, as stipulated by the design conditions set by the City of Tallinn.
