More than 150 new A-energy class homes to be built in Maardu
A former industrial town - Maardu, which this year celebrated 45 years since receiving city rights, is undergoing transformation - a city with a calm pace of life, green spaces, bringing together different cultures and multifaceted, which has begun to boldly step out of its industrial past. Although the development of new living environments in the outskirts of Tallinn has been attractive for many years, the first new developments in Maardu are only now gaining momentum.
Contractor and real estate developer Fund Ehitus plans to build 7 new residential buildings in Maardu. Maardu's newest and largest development in recent years - Ringi Kodud - is located at Ringi põik 1, 3 and 5 and is planned to include over 150 modern and energy-efficient apartments of different sizes and layouts, as well as recreational areas, playgrounds, and cycling paths. The buildings have elevators, readiness for the installation of electric car chargers, and modern ventilation and heating systems. The first phase of the development will begin with the construction of 2 buildings.
The buildings are designed with A energy class and apartment prices start from 125,300 euros, making Ringi Kodud one of the most affordable new developments in Harjumaa.
In Maardu, everything you need is very close by – schools, kindergartens, infrastructure, shops, services, etc., but there is also plenty of breathing room and privacy, greenery, nature, recreational areas, and a good living environment. The city of Maardu is also increasingly investing in urban development – streets and utilities are being renewed, playgrounds are being built and green areas and parking lots are being maintained. Cycling paths and proximity to nature make the Ringi Kodud area particularly attractive for those who love a quieter suburban lifestyle.
Ringi Kodud is suitable as a first home for young people, as an investment, as a home for a larger family, and for people looking for a good and peaceful living environment.
Building permits have been issued and construction work for the first phase is planned to begin this year. Pre-sales are already underway.
