LVM Real Estate Organizes Estonia's First Major Appraisal Week
LVM Kinnisvara, part of Estonia's major real estate agencies, launched a new campaign on the Estonian real estate market today – a major valuation week. While the same agency's previously introduced format, a major open house week, was aimed at real estate buyers, the company is now coming forward with an initiative designed for property owners and offering the opportunity to get a free overview of their property's market value.
During the major valuation week, property owners have the opportunity to find out the market value range of their property for free. "Many people are interested in how much their home or apartment is worth in today's market situation, but not everyone is planning a sale yet or wishes to order a valuation for the bank," explained Ingmar Saksing, a member of LVM Kinnisvara's management board. "The major valuation week provides an opportunity to get a professional overview of your property's market value without any obligation." Participation in the campaign requires an on-site inspection of the property so that LVM can provide an accurate valuation, but the owner is not obligated to sell their home or apartment through LVM Kinnisvara afterwards. If there is later a need for an official valuation to present to the bank, that is a separate paid service, but the owner will already have an idea of the range and the expected result of the valuation.
Although the campaign only launched on social media on Friday, interest has proven greater than expected. "The experience of the major open house week has shown that people value transparency and the opportunity to get information about their property. The first days confirm that the major valuation week meets the market need," added Saksing. LVM's major open house week, organized since 2013, has been visited by more than 100,000 potential buyers in total.
