The boiler house of a historic paper mill, together with its chimney, will soon become the symbolic center and important landmark of the modern Fahle business quarter. The architects of the boiler house presented wonderful views of the interior of the Boiler House, which has been converted into an office building. The building is filled with light, features green walls with vegetation, modern design, and combines historic limestone facades and details. The Boiler House chimney will be transformed into Tallinn's new viewing platform, which will offer spectacular panoramic views of Tallinn city and the sea.

The boiler house is the last heritage object in the Fahle Park quarter, created in the area of the historic cellulose mill, awaiting reconstruction. "Currently, preparations for starting renovation work are in full swing. We will begin construction as soon as we have covered the building with suitable tenants. Currently, negotiations are underway with several prestigious companies," said Sven Mihailov, one of the partners of Fausto Capital, the developer of Fahle Park.

After the completion of the boiler house, the cellulose mill area can be declared renovated and progress can move forward with the integration of new buildings into the business quarter. This represents a significant contribution by Fausto Capital to the preservation of architectural heritage and the support of sustainable urban development in Tallinn.

One of the architects of Fahle Park, Margit Aule from the architecture bureau LUMIA, considers bringing the Boiler House to life as a unique project. "Monumental spaces soaring through the floors, which are characteristic of old industrial buildings and whose splendor we can transfer to a modern office building. We want to bring light into the interior of the boiler house and divide it with glass cubes, where various companies can establish themselves. Top design in white tones combined with historic limestone walls creates a space solution for the entire building that is both cozy and unusually interesting and multi-layered," said Aule.

According to Aule, the Boiler House could suit both one large company and several smaller ones. The wings of the Boiler House will create ideal spaces for smaller companies, while the heart of the Boiler House would be an ideal home for one or several larger companies.

From the boiler house, a direct path will lead into the interior of the chimney, where it is planned to build a spiral staircase together with an elevator that leads directly to the top of the chimney. At the top of the chimney, a glass dome will be built together with a terrace, and spectacular views will open from there.

The boiler house together with the chimney is located in the middle of the comprehensively renovated Fahle Park urban space and is accessible from all directions. The boiler house will soon be connected to a newly constructed 500-space parking building/office building. The Fahle business quarter is home to Postimees and Duo Media, Apollo Group, Stora Enso, Betsson Group, Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund Career Center, Workland, Argentina restaurant, Bestwine and many others. Across the street from the boiler house remains the Fahle gallery street with a glass roof, which is warm and green year-round, where you can dine on the terraces of cafes and restaurants.

The area's transformation has also been noticed by the public, and Fausto Capital received the Property Deal of the Year award for the renovation of Fahle Park. The other landmark of Fahle Park – the gallery street with exotic vegetation – received the Cultural Capital annual award in the category of "old made new."
