Liven Started Construction of the Final Phase of the Internationally Acclaimed Regati Development

Real estate developer Liven has begun construction of the second and final phase of the Regati development next to the Pirita promenade in Tallinn. The Regati, which has attracted international attention, is the first residential development in Estonia to receive a unique LEED certificate at the highest level. The homes in the second phase will also be built according to the same high environmental standards.

"Regati is a special project both in terms of its location and technical solutions. We started with the installation of foundation piles and underground construction, and then we will move rapidly into building the houses," commented Andero Laur, CEO of Liven AS.

In the second phase of the Regati development, three apartment buildings will be constructed. In total, the development includes 220 apartments and approximately 540 square meters of commercial space for services and cafes. The Regati, located at the end of the Pirita promenade, has been designed by Salto Architecture Bureau.

New Regati homes will be completed by the end of 2027

The area of the development is planned to have better active mobility connections between the city center and Pirita than before. The homes in the first phase of Regati are already completed and many residents have moved in. The first homes of the new phase will be completed by the end of 2027.

Regati is the first residential development in Estonia to receive a unique LEED certificate at the highest level. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is an international building environmental performance rating system, with its highest level being Platinum. The issuance of the certificate is not limited to energy efficiency assessment alone, but takes into account the overall impact of the building on the environment. Thus, everything from design through to completed homes must be created while protecting the environment and health.

Regati attracts interest abroad as well

The homes in the first phase of the Regati development have already attracted international attention. The Latvian architects' association and Liven's cooperation partners from Finland, Italy, and Germany have visited the Regati homes. Representatives from the Norwegian real estate sector also wish to familiarize themselves with Regati.
