Lasnamäe Centrum Underwent a Renovation
The renovation work of Lasnamäe's largest shopping center, Lasnamäe Centrum, has reached the final stages, and the center has received a new and high glass main entrance, above which stands the largest and Estonia's unique three-dimensional effect LED screen in Tallinn.
During the renovation, the center's common areas were given a new appearance, technical systems and lighting were replaced, and the interior and architecture were modernized both inside and outside. The storefronts received a contemporary look and the rest areas were also updated. Additional roof windows were installed in the center to allow natural light into the space.
The center became more filled with light thanks to a new glass main entrance, which is now spacious and tall. A safe car-free and comfortable covered area has been created in front of the entrance. Part of the building's facade is covered with dolomite. The LED screen installed above the entrance allows displaying three-dimensional videos. The screen is 23 meters wide and 10 meters tall, and its image consists of more than 6 million separate pixels.

A pleasant design element has also appeared in the center's foyer - a green wall with real plants, among which you can find strawberry plants. Although there is no vacant rental space in Lasnamäe Centrum, a candy shop can be accessed through a temporary entrance during the renovation.
"Since Lasnamäe Centrum is by nature the heart of Lasnamäe, which in addition to providing goods and services also fulfills a social and civic function, we have planned year-round events for the whole family here both inside the center and in the open air in front of the center," said Lasnamäe Centrum director Teana Baškirtseva.
On the occasion of the main entrance opening, visitors to Lasnamäe Centrum will be greeted on April 17th with a photo wall in the center's foyer, where every visitor can take pictures. In addition, from noon onwards, guests will be treated to taste experiences from various producers, cheese and fruit from Rimi in front of Lasnamäe's largest Rimi hypermarket.

Next to the center, visitors will also be greeted by the "Circus of the Future", where all sorts of animals and even fish are represented in the arena as holograms. The circus can be visited until April 28th, and this week lottery tickets for the circus will be drawn among visitors to Lasnamäe Centrum. From April 26th to May 12th, the Tivoli amusement park will operate next to the center, and on June 1st a celebration of Children's Protection Day is planned.
"In cooperation with Heart Pharmacy, we are organizing a series of health-themed lectures in the center's renewed and cozy rest area, where we will discuss both diabetes and spring allergies. In addition, our center is dog-friendly and in Lasnamäe Centrum's 700-space parking lot, parking is free for everyone and there is no need to use a parking meter," added Teana Baškirtseva.
