Statistics: Annual Growth in Apartment Transactions Was 7.8%
In 2017, according to the Land Board data, a total of 22,339 apartment transactions took place in Estonia at an average price of 1,164 €/m². Over the year, the number of transactions increased by 7.8% and prices rose by 7.0%.
The annual turnover of apartment transactions was 1,502 million euros. Apartment transaction turnover increased by 16.9% compared to the previous year 2016. Behind the large growth in turnover was the growing number of transactions and prices, as well as an active new development market, particularly in Tallinn and its surroundings.
The average value of a 2017 apartment transaction was 67,226 €. This indicator gained value over the year by 8.5%.
