Invego's Verve residential district in Viimsi, valued at 18 million, receives building permit, construction to begin soon
Property developer Invego's Verve residential area being built in Viimsi municipality has obtained all the necessary permits for construction, and NOBE, recently selected as the builder, will begin work shortly. The total project investment is 18 million euros.
The Verve residential area, being built in Haabneeme near the Viimsi open-air museum, will consist of five A-energy class terraced houses containing a total of 58 homes with innovative architectural solutions. "The project has progressed as planned and now that all necessary permits are in place, we can soon begin construction work," comments Invego's head Kristjan-Thor Vähi and adds that the first homes will be completed already next year.
The Verve architectural solution differs significantly from typical terraced house developments because the buildings are positioned back-to-back instead of side-by-side in the traditional manner, which allows more natural light into the homes, larger window areas and creates more privacy for each courtyard area. "Verve is not an ordinary terraced house development, but a completely new integrated living environment that combines modern architecture, energy-efficient solutions and nature-oriented lifestyle. The homes are compact, but thoughtfully planned, which allows maximum use of the entire floor area and offers the possibility to get a part of a house with a garden at the price of a multi-room apartment," explains Vähi, saying that Invego gave form to this completely novel concept with the architecture firm Arhitekt11, and the design of the surrounding environment is being cared for by Stuudio Punktiir landscape architects.
One of the greatest values of the Verve residential area is its location in the Haabneeme primeval forest and the entire residential quarter has been planned with respect to this existing natural environment. The buildings are positioned and structured in such a way as to preserve the maximum amount of existing high vegetation and natural relief, and to create for each home a private, peaceful and green-surrounded living space. Near the development are located protected RMK forest areas and coastal areas, as well as schools, kindergartens and other necessary everyday infrastructure.
