International business consulting firm Rödl & Partner opens office in Maark Street new development
A freshly renovated office tower is soon opening its doors on the bustling Maakri Street in Tallinn's city center, welcoming a fine collection of renowned companies as tenants. The international German-rooted audit, accounting and law firm Rödl & Partner, which has been operating in Estonia for 30 years, has announced its relocation to the new office building. The Maakri Street development brings over 9,000m2 of new A-class office space to the city center's most popular business district, and the last quick movers can still take occupancy of their new office premises together with other tenants. The building's developer Fausto Capital, Piletilevi, Lartus and other renowned companies have also announced their relocation to the new office tower on Maakri Street.
According to Rödl & Partner Estonia's representative Aiki Tiisler, the decision to relocate was determined by the location in the heart of Tallinn's business environment and the development's modern solutions. "Rödl & Partner has a total of 107 offices in 51 different countries and it is strategically important for us to be located in the city center regardless of which country's city we are in. This allows us to be visible and easily found and to offer clients quality services, an integral part of which is a modern office. We equally consider it important to create a pleasant working environment for our employees with a convenient office location," said Tiisler.
In Rödl & Partner's nearly 500 square meter office, tasteful and distinctive design meet ultimate functionality and low maintenance costs, which align well with the company's values. "Our new office has workplaces for 34 colleagues. When planning the office, we also took into account the popular hybrid work arrangement. All three service lines (audit, accounting, law office) can use both personal and shared work spaces as well as an open work area. Flexible space usage allows employees to socialize well and exchange ideas with each other," said a Rödl & Partner representative.
According to Sven Mihailov, one of the owners of the Maakri building's developer Fausto Capital, international companies increasingly emphasize the environmental aspect of office buildings, and this can be an important deciding factor in the leasing decision. For example, Rödl & Partner has committed to the principles of the Green Office, which guides every aspect of their activities from energy, office supplies and space-saving usage to digital waste sorting. This also naturally guides the company's desire to be located in an economically constructed building. "We renovated the Maakri office building to be energy-efficient and equipped it with the most modern and economical technology, and there will also be a large bicycle parking lot and electric scooter charging stations to promote light traffic in the city center and thereby contribute to reducing the ecological footprint of transportation. Fausto Capital's other development, Fahle Park, has also received a green certificate at the BREEAM outstanding level. Fausto plans to apply for the same certificate for the Maakri building as well," said Sven Mihailov.
Rödl & Partner is already familiar with Fausto Capital's work, as their previous office was also located on Fausto's premises but was slightly removed from the city center's quiet zone and created the need for new space.
According to Sven Mihailov, Fausto builds tenant offices according to the client's wishes, and quick movers can already take occupancy of their new office premises this summer in the freshly renovated office tower on Maakri Street together with other tenants.
