Estonia's largest investment company Infortar moved its group subsidiaries today to a new office building completed on Liivalaia Street in the quiet Tallinn district.

„Infortar has grown into one of Estonia's largest companies, and a large organization also requires proper infrastructure and modern working conditions. Our group includes over a hundred subsidiary and associated companies, not all of them fit in the new building," noted Infortar CEO Martti Talgre.

„Besides energy and shipping, real estate is our third important sector – the Liivalaia office building is our own group's development and construction project, we have grown to be one of the largest real estate owners in Estonia by assets," said Talgre.

Infortar group subsidiaries and associated companies, including the building's constructor INF Ehitus, are moving into the office building at Liivalaia 9. On four floors is the headquarters of Eesti Gaas, the region's largest private capital energy company. Eesti Gaas has been located at the same address for several decades before the deteriorated building was demolished and the new one constructed.

The nine-story office building designed by Allianss Architects has a closed gross floor area of 7500m2. The building, equipped with energy-efficient and modern indoor climate systems, has a facade covered with anodized aluminum and perforated aluminum slats providing additional sun shading. In the foyer opening onto Liivalaia Street is a metal sculpture "Fractal" created by Heigo Jelle, illuminated at night by videomapping by Alyona Movko-Mägi.

Infortar operates in five countries, with the company's main areas of activity being energy, shipping and real estate. Infortar owns approximately 42 percent stake in AS Tallink Grupp, 100% stake in AS Eesti Gaas, and a diverse and modern real estate portfolio of over 100,000 m2. In addition to the three main areas of activity, Infortar also operates in civil engineering and mineral resources, printing, taxation and other sectors. In total, Infortar's group consists of 104 companies: 48 group companies, 5 associated companies and 50 subsidiaries of associated companies. Infortar employs 1,333 people.

The construction companies belonging to Infortar – INF Ehitus, INF Infra and EG Ehitus – have built several complex infrastructure objects, including the Balticconnector connecting Estonia and Finland, and three biogas plants. Currently, INF Infra is building one of Estonia's largest infrastructure projects – a new arch bridge in Pärnu city center. The company has several objects under construction, the largest of which is Rimi's new logistics center in Saku. Infortar's real estate and construction companies are consolidated under the iNF brand.
