Home Purchase Becomes Easier – Notary Fees Covered and Loan Agreement is Free

LVM Real Estate in cooperation with SEB Bank is launching a major home purchase familiarization week as a pilot campaign from April 20-26, during which selected sales objects are offered at least 5% cheaper and the home buyer's notary costs are covered. In addition, as part of the campaign, SEB clients can conclude a loan agreement for free.

The campaign aims to make home buying easier for Estonian people and bring more buyers to the real estate market by reducing the costs associated with transactions, which is the main obstacle to the purchase decision for many. For example, for a home worth 200,000 euros, a 5% price discount means a saving of 10,000 euros for the buyer. Together with notary costs of up to 800 euros covered and a free loan agreement, the buyer's total cost decreases significantly.

"Home buying very often falls through because of those necessary last few thousand euros. If the additional costs associated with the transaction decrease, it will help bring to the market people who would otherwise still be waiting," said Ingmar Saksing, member of the board of LVM Real Estate. According to him, in addition to the general price level of residential properties, the real estate market activity is also affected by the costs associated with a specific transaction, which can postpone the purchase decision even when a suitable home has already been selected.
