Hauser Brings Two New Partners and Prepares New Developments in Estonia and Latvia
Real estate developer Hausers has brought Taimo Murer and Marek Pohla into the company as new partners to strengthen the company's management and investment capabilities and to grow its operations in the Estonian and Latvian real estate markets. The company has several new development projects in preparation, including the development of a historic building in Tallinn on Tõnismägi and residential developments in Riga.
"Combining the partners' experience strengthens our ability to develop new projects, attract capital, and grow our real estate portfolio while maintaining a balance between growth, profitability, and risks," said Taimo Murer, managing partner of Hausers Real Estate OÜ.
According to Murer, Hausers' existing business focus will remain largely the same, but with the addition of new partners, the company wants to improve its management and work organization. In addition to strengthening project, finance, and risk management, the company plans to make greater use of digital solutions and artificial intelligence to reduce routine work and improve the quality and accessibility of information needed for decision-making.
Hausers has also drawn up a new five-year business strategy that covers the company's development goals, business segments, and management structure. "Our ambition is to be the most reliable and preferred real estate developer in our chosen markets," said Taimo Murer.
Murer explained that Hausers is also actively seeking new investment opportunities in both residential and commercial real estate. The company's goal is to offer homes to different target groups ranging from first-time home buyers and families to more demanding home buyers and investors.
New developments are being prepared in Tallinn and Riga
Hausers currently sells homes in Estonia in three projects – in the representative home segment residential development Koduallee, in Tallinn on Asula Street, in the comfort home segment residential development Uus Loo, in Loo village on Saha Street, and in the affordable home product segment development Viieaia Torn, where the sales of the last apartments are being completed these days. In a fourth project, rental space is offered in a multi-functional commercial building at Kesk tee 8 near the Jüri roundabout, where construction of warehouse, office, sales, and light manufacturing spaces has begun. The company intends to start sales and construction of the next residential development project in the coming months.
One of the projects being prepared is located in Tallinn at Tõnismägi 5a, where Hausers plans to restore the original residential function of the historic building built in 1908–1909 and create distinctive representative homes there. The building has been used for various business purposes for most of its history.
In Latvia, Hausers is growing its local team and preparing to start construction of a residential development with affordable homes in the Bišumuiža area in Riga. Near the Daugava River, homes designed for families are planned, which combine historic architecture with modern amenities. Another Latvian development project is also in preparation, which is planned to begin in 2027.
As part of the new partnership, Tomy Saaron, Taimo Murer, and Marek Pohla established a holding company Triads Holdings OÜ with equal stakes, which acquires the previous business operations of Hausers Grupp OÜ and the companies associated with it. Hausers Real Estate OÜ was created for residential real estate development and construction, and Hausers Commercial OÜ for commercial real estate development, construction, and operation. In Latvia, operations continue through Hausers Real Estate SIA.
Taimo Murer has previously led Kaamos Kinnisvara AS and Marek Pohla has worked as Chairman of the Board of Kaamos Group. Tomy Saaron brings to the partnership his knowledge of Hausers' previous business operations and long-term real estate development experience.
