Pikaliiva Kaarmaja on Harku Lake Shore Reached Full Height
Bonava celebrated reaching full height of the second and final phase of Pikaliiva Kaarmaja with a traditional topping-out ceremony. At Pikaliiva 9 and 11 addresses by Lake Harku, two A-energy class residential buildings with 81 apartments will be completed by the end of this year. Upon completion, the entire Pikaliiva Kaarmaja neighborhood will be finished with four buildings and 160 homes.
According to data from the Citify application, which monitors sales of new developments, Bonava has sold the most new homes in Haabersti this year. "Haabersti is today the fastest-growing area in Tallinn's real estate market, and with our two A-energy class projects, we have managed to maintain our market leader position here. In the first phase of Pikaliiva Kaarmaja at the time of the topping-out ceremony for the new phase, half of the apartments have been sold and several more are reserved," said Lauri Laanoja, Bonava's sales and marketing director.
Despite the fact that the real estate market has not experienced the traditional spring activity surge, client interest and demand for new homes remains stable for the second quarter in a row. "Reaching deals does take longer sometimes, as the sale of an old home is often an obstacle. We also help our clients in this matter and offer support on our part so that families can make their desired home exchange happen," explained Laanoja.
Pikaliiva Kaarmaja stands out architecturally from the tower buildings in the surrounding area. The four residential buildings form a semicircle, at the heart of which is a peaceful courtyard area. "During the design process, special attention was paid to the convenience of residents' use. A large part of the parking spaces are located in an underground garage, adding openness to the courtyard area. The apartments on the first floor have terraces opening toward the cozy interior courtyard, which are separated from the rest of the courtyard area by small hedges to ensure privacy," described the project's advantages Kätlin Villmann, Bonava's development director. The walkways surrounding the building are also carefully thought out so that residents can enjoy walks to the forest trails surrounding the area and to the Harku lake beach, which is just a five-minute walk away.
The 4-story residential buildings of Pikaliiva Kaarmaja contain one to four-room apartments ranging in size from 24-84 m². Each apartment has a balcony or terrace, solar panels have been installed on the roof of the buildings and more efficient ventilation units have been introduced, as a result of which the building has been assigned an A-energy class.
