Garden Work in July!
Half of summer is coming to an end and it's time to tackle those mid-summer garden chores! So that you have something beautiful to look at, delicious harvests to enjoy, and so you can thank yourself next year for all of this!
Lawn
needs mowing just like in June, but soon you'll notice it needs less and less. The lawn also needs watering and sprinkling - July is a dry month and natural rain isn't always able to do all the work.

Planting
is now the right time to sow seeds of biennial flowers.
Houseplants
can now be brought outside for the summer. However, if there's excessive rain, it's wise to bring them back under cover.
Berries
will soon be ready. Now is the right time to pick them from the bushes and trees and do what you planned - make compotes, freeze them, make jams. But remember that with the berries ripening, there's now an increased need to protect them from birds. You can do this with suitable nets.
Garden flowers
now also need your care. Tall-growing flowers need support and various summer flowers need liquid fertilizer. Roses now need full fertilizer and greater attention - cut off wilted flowers and remove wild shoots.
Medicinal herbs
are now ready to harvest, for example chamomile, yarrow, St. John's wort, nettle, lemon balm, mint and linden flowers.
