PHOTO GALLERY: Laferme Complex on Pirita Road Receives Its Cornerstone
On Tuesday, November 28, a cornerstone was laid for the Laferme building complex being constructed on Pirita Road in Tallinn. The complex, consisting of a new and historic building connected through the first floor and an underground parking lot, is scheduled to be completed in spring 2025 according to plans.
Real estate development company Pirita tee Kinnisvara OÜ signed a contract worth 20 million euros with KRC Ehitus this summer for the reconstruction of the historic building of the Laferme complex located on Pirita Road in Tallinn and the construction of a modern building as a new addition to it.
The historic part of Laferme will be fully renovated and will be complemented by a modern addition that harmoniously fits with the surrounding buildings. "This is a dignified location well-known to all Tallinn residents on Pirita Road between the Song Festival Grounds and the Lilies Pavilion. Over the last decade, several new residential buildings that are highly valued and popular in the real estate market have been built in the area. Laferme project architect Tormi Sooväli has done excellent work and in addition to quality interior solutions, the overall appearance and harmonious impression of the entire complex have been ensured," said Ingmar Saksing, member of the board of LVM Kinnisvara, which handles the building's sales arrangements.
Laferme will have a total of 64 guest apartments and 8 commercial spaces. The apartments are of various sizes with 1-5 rooms, with a total area of 37-204 square meters. The building features high ceilings and its own solar power plant. "The soundproofing of Laferme is higher than required by law, because silence is a luxury that everyone deserves. In accordance with contemporary solutions, Laferme has been built as a smart home so that every owner can optimize energy costs according to their preferences," explained Ingmar Saksing, highlighting the advantages of the Laferme development. In his assessment, this is one of the most attractive projects on Tallinn's real estate market in the coming years.
