PHOTOS: Topping-out Ceremony Held for Landmark Rising on Tallinn District Border
On a quiet street in Tallinn, on the border of Kristiine and North Tallinn, a topping-out ceremony was held for a new commercial and residential building designed by architect Peeter Pere, with the building set to be completed in May of next year.
According to 1Partner Construction's site manager Üllar Hinno, the building being constructed at the intersection of Paldiski Road and Madara Street is unique. "In the environment of surrounding wooden houses, the new building is particularly striking. Floor-to-ceiling windows, large roof terraces, and a visually striking exterior façade are a combined complex architectural solution, yet it is at the same time practical and adds much visual appeal to the area," Hinno described the building's qualities and added that beautiful views of Toompea open up from the apartments on the higher floors.
In the Madara 1 commercial and residential building being developed by 1Partner, there are still a few individual apartments and offices for sale. "In keeping with the times, most of the spaces have already found their owners before the new building reached its full height," commented 1Partner Real Estate broker Allan Vanatoa.
Commercial spaces are located on the first floor of the building, office spaces on the second floor, and the remaining floors are allocated for ten apartments to be built. Parking is also well-solved in this busy traffic area, both in front of the building and in the underground garage.
The building rising at Madara 1 address will have a net floor area of 2,500 square meters and will have six above-ground floors and one underground floor. The building is being built by 1Partner Construction and its architect is Peeter Pere. Construction of the Madara 1 residential and commercial building began in autumn 2021 and it will be completed in May 2023.
