1Partner Construction renovated the former Noblessner submarine factory's over 4,000-square-meter power plant and boiler house into a modern commercial and residential building.

According to 1Partner Construction's head Üllar Hinno, the complex spanning four storeys has a very interesting history and was almost destroyed during World War II, but fortunately the mining attempt failed.

"The building, protected as an architectural monument, has now been renovated very precisely following Heritage Protection requirements and preserving as many original parts as possible. For example, we managed to expose the internal limestone walls, powerful riveted steel trusses, and even the original floor tiles," said Hinno, adding that a month ago, 1Partner also completed the renovation of another Noblessner factory's power plant in the same area.

According to 1Partner Construction's head, the 4,115-square-meter power plant at Peetri 7 address has commercial spaces on the first floor, guest apartments on the second floor, and residential spaces on the third level.

  1. – The building built in 1914–1916 in Neo-Romanesque style contains six sections, including the former boiler room, compressor room, dynamo room, and power station.
  2. From that year the building belonged to the Estonian Bank; from 1937, AS Oskar Kilga's knitwear, sock, and lace textile factory operated there. In 1941, production was nationalized, after which the building housed the weaving factory "Kommunaar" and the war factory "Meretehas Nr. 7". In 1990, the factory was privatized and after production ceased in the 2000s, the building remained empty until the current renovation.

1Partner Construction has previously renovated the Staapli 10 power plant in Noblessner and the historic buildings at Peetri 3 and Peetri 5 addresses, where Shishi headquarters and Põhjala Brewery are located.

1Partner Construction is part of the international 1Partner Real Estate Group. 1Partner Construction has among other things developed and renovated top restaurants NOA, Tuljak, and Mon Repos; Shishi and Põhjala Brewery representative buildings; and Hotel Nothel.
