PHOTOS: Baltic States' Largest Workland Fahle Transformed into a Buzzing Party Venue at Opening
Last week, Workland Fahle, Tallinn's fifth and the Baltics' thirteenth coworking center, celebrated its opening. For the opening party, Workland Fahle's stylish office environment was transformed into a bustling celebration space, bringing together approximately 100 guests. Just as people working at Workland come from different fields, the party crowd was diverse too: Workland Fahle members, cooperation partners, neighbors from the Fahle complex, and Workland's international team. In addition to the festive atmosphere and a show where Freeflow studio dancers surprised the audience at the windows of the historic building, all guests enjoyed cocktails and snacks while exploring the entire center and experiencing its lively and friendly atmosphere.
Workland Fahle is located on three and a half floors of an old paper factory and, in addition to offices and meeting rooms, the center features a spacious powder-pink kitchen with a café atmosphere and a gym for active breaks. In the historic Workland Fahle, there are bright, light-filled collaborative spaces with high ceilings and bold interior design with open floor plans, as well as dozens of private offices of various sizes. In addition to phone booths for calls and all other features of a modern office, from adjustable desks and chairs to internet connections and coffee machines, there are plenty of break areas and a kitchen with a café atmosphere.
Meetings can be organized in 11 meeting rooms, the most special of which is located in a former paper factory acid bath. The distinctive interior design was created by Taavi Aunre, partner and interior designer at UDDU Architects.
According to Workland founder and board chairman Indrek Häälе, the team decided to establish the new center in Fahle because the business quarter is located on the quiet side of the city, yet very close to the city center. "Workland Fahle is a good alternative for those who find it convenient to move slightly away from the city center towards Ülemiste, but who prefer a more personal work environment to a large city office," he explains.
Workland offers a flexible and collaboration-promoting environment for teams and entrepreneurs of various sizes who want to work independently while benefiting from a community of like-minded people.
