Fifth Dining Establishment Added to Fahle Park Area
A new Fahle business development rising on the site of a former paper factory is revitalizing the area with new dining establishments. In its fifth arrival, Manoly Café, with an 8-year history, started serving food in the summer. Recently, Argentine restaurant also announced its opening news on Fahle Park Gallery Street, and Caffeine started in the same street at the beginning of summer. The entrance to Manoly Café opens onto the square in front of Postimees building and accommodates 45 visitors. For a somewhat longer time, Brasserie 11 and Paper Mill have been offering culinary experiences to people in this area.
„The beautiful elevation behind the bus station with historic limestone buildings and new modern structures is powerfully making a comeback on Tallinn's map. Companies such as Postimees, Apollo, Stora Enso, Career Center, Vaal Gallery and others have already established themselves here. We want to develop the entire area as an integrated urban space and bring people here to explore and enjoy a new interesting environment," said Fausto sales director Einar Niin.
Manoly Café is located just past the bus station, walking up Children's Home Road extension uphill to the square in front of Postimees building. Café owner Lyli Kivistik recommends all bus station visitors to make a little discovery tour of the former paper factory area. „In addition to culinary experiences, from the edge of the hilltop where the café is located, there is a wonderful view of Tallinn's church spires and high-rise buildings. The Fahle gallery street with magnolias and citrus trees is also worth seeing," said Manoly Café owner Lyli Kivistik.
In Manoly Café's historic limestone building with large windows, you can enjoy Mediterranean-flavored cuisine with a rich seafood menu. „At Manoly Café you can take time for a cozy dinner with wine and candles, as well as a quick lunch and breakfast with freshly baked omelets or porridge, and also enjoy coffee and delicious pastries and cakes. We also accept catering orders," said Kivistik.
