In the rapidly developing Fahle business and residential quarter, RUUT, the production company with the largest market share of television programs, began operations. Together with Postimees and DuoMedia, the region has become Estonia's media hub.

RUUT-produced hit shows "MasterChef Estonia", "Your Face Sounds Familiar", "The Masked Singer" and other television highlights will be edited in the new Fahle office, and all television projects will also be managed from there. "On a daily basis, RUUT's office has 10-12 workplaces for editors, directors, producers, editors, but during one season our team consists of more than 70 people who need to be able to work in the comfortable new office for shorter or longer periods," said RUUT's head producer Kaupo Karelson.

According to Karelson, preparations are currently underway actively for the new season to delight viewers in the fall. "Currently, there is intensive preparation for the big shows "I See Your Voice", "Your Face Sounds Familiar" and post-production of "MasterChef Estonia: Celebrities in the Kitchen" and besides, filming for a new season of "Papside" will begin in a few weeks."

While working at a fast pace, Karelson considers it important that from the Fahle quarter, it reaches every Estonian television channel in a maximum of ten minutes. "Smooth logistics are of crucial importance for media professionals. TV3 is close by on Peterburi Road, ETV is a couple of streets towards Kadriorg and Kanal 2 is right next door. Moving to filming locations in the far corners of Estonia is also convenient, as the starting points of all roads are nearby. You can park right in front of the office building. It's difficult to find such a combination of conditions elsewhere," praised Karelson.

Karelson also likes the character of the Fahle quarter area. "It's cool for a creative person to come here. Interesting historical architecture is mixed with very modern solutions and a suitable mix of tenants supports our activities."

The concentration of media companies in Fahle began with the arrival of the first anchor tenant – Duo Media – which includes Kanal 2 along with smaller subsidiary channels and several radio stations: KUKU, Elmar, MyHits and others. Postimees Group has settled into the Fahle media house. Now RUUT has been added. "Many television and entertainment world workers move around in this area. We will certainly find room for other media professionals as well, as renovation awaits Katlamaja along with its smokestack and several other buildings," said Fahle Park developer Kenneth Karpov.

According to Karpov, media companies need many services around them: from restaurants, hairdressers, makeup artists to dry cleaning, flower shops, studios and video services.

Fahle has other examples where one large arrival brings companies in the same field along with it. For example, there is a strong cluster of technology companies here, which includes, for example, FinestMedia, Betsson Group and Askend.
