Estateguru investors' accounts received nearly 10 million euros in February

Investors on the Estateguru platform, which provides loans secured by real estate, received 9.86 million euros in repayments last month, of which 910,000 euros came from earned interest income. The average return on investments was 11.16%.

Platform investors invested a total of 7.32 million euros in new real estate projects in February. "Although February was a short month, our investors remained active and delivered strong results," commented Estateguru CEO Mihkel Stamm, who noted that the most new real estate loans were financed in Estonia with 3.3 million euros, followed by Lithuania with 2.3 million and Latvia with 1.7 million euros. "The first months of the year have confirmed the rising activity in the Latvian and Lithuanian markets, and we see that developers there are increasingly moving forward with new projects," said Stamm.

During February, loans worth 370,000 euros that were previously behind schedule were also successfully repaid. "Our portfolio from the last two years is performing very well, and 98% of loans issued last year have either already been repaid or are performing on schedule. Our priority remains the successful resolution of earlier problematic loans and the gradual closure of the non-active markets portfolio," added Stamm.

Last year, Estateguru investors financed new real estate projects worth more than 80 million euros. The Estateguru CEO notes that small investors now find it even easier to actively engage in investing thanks to a legislative change that entered into force this year, which now allows investment account funds to be placed in crowdfunding.
