Construction Works Have Begun in Seiler Quarter in Pärnu
Nordecon has begun construction work on the first phase of Seiler Quarter at Rääma 7 in Pärnu. In the heart of Pärnu, directly on the riverbank, the first two buildings of the quarter will rise, part of a comprehensive residential area planned with ten modern apartment buildings in total. The apartments of the first phase will be completed in spring 2025.
Seiler Quarter was designed by the architectural bureau 3+1 architects as the winning entry of a public architecture competition, with architects Gert Guriev, Mihkel Meriste, Lisette Eriste and Markus Kaasik. In total, 133 apartments are planned in the apartment buildings rising in the quarter, most of which will have a balcony or terrace. To diversify the environment, retail spaces are planned on the first floor of most buildings. Parking has been solved as an outdoor parking lot, partially as underground parking. Functional green spaces with rest areas and a playground are planned between the apartment buildings. The buildings are located on the bank of the Pärnu River, in close proximity to Tallinna Avenue and the Old Town Bridge, and the Jaansoni health trail runs along the riverside of the quarter.
„Seiler is a quarter that will change Pärnu's city skyline and will be completed along with the new bridge. The completion of the new bridge will bring the quarter even closer to the city center. The project has been very warmly received by customers, which is of course not surprising, as Seiler apartments are very good and have well-thought-out solutions," commented Ingmar Saksing, member of the board of LVM Real Estate.
„In cooperation with LVM Real Estate, more than 70% of the apartments being completed within the first phase of Seiler Quarter have been sold," said Katrina Šokman, head of real estate development at Nordecon. „We will likely start with bookings for the second phase in the coming months."
„We ask the local community for patience and understanding, as any construction process inevitably brings some inconveniences to its surroundings due to increased noise levels or airborne dust. We will do our best to manage these in compliance with all requirements as well as possible," explained Šokman. „During the excavation work, many trucks will also be moving in the area, so we ask road users to watch the temporary signs for safety reasons."
