Construction of a New Apartment Building Began in Noblessner
As part of a joint development project by Merko Kodud and BLRT Group, construction of a new apartment building with 83 apartments and six commercial spaces has begun in Noblessner. The building rising at Allveelaeva 2 will feature two to six-room apartments ranging from 42–161 square meters. The building will be completed by early 2027.
Noblessner has become one of Tallinn's most popular neighborhoods, where a stylish, open-to-the-sea urban space has been created on the grounds of the former submarine factory. In 2020, Noblessner received the award for the best urban space development in the Baltic region.
„There is great interest in the apartment building rising at Allveelaeva 2," confirmed Tiit Kuusik, responsible for Merko's new developments in Noblessner. „People value Noblessner's unique living environment. When moving here, you get a well-thought-out and quality home, whose value will only grow along with the development of the surroundings and local community," Kuusik highlighted the reasons why Noblessner is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Tallinn.
According to Ivar Piirsalu, real estate development director at BLRT Group, the harbor district is a unique combination of several elements. „Here you have historic industrial buildings with grand architecture, a yacht harbor, acclaimed restaurants, vibrant cultural life, and quality new development. We are creating a human-friendly and safe urban space where the entire waterfront area is dedicated to pedestrians and light traffic," he said.
The Allveelaeva 2 apartment building is being developed by Kodusadam OÜ, whose owners are Merko Kodud and BLRT Group. The building's architect is the architecture bureau PLUSS, and interior architectural solutions have been created by studio Argus.
PLUSS architects play an important role in Noblessner's special atmosphere: they have created outdoor solutions and several previous contemporary residential buildings. The Allveelaeva 2 building continues with the same enjoyable and human-friendly architectural style. The buildings' parking spaces will be constructed on an underground level in Noblessner, leaving the above-ground space for landscaped courtyards, playgrounds, and recreation areas.
