Construction Begins on the Last Building of New-Fisherman's Quarter in Pärnu

Kooli Investeeringud OÜ has concluded a construction contract with Qualitis Ehitus to begin construction of the third and final residential building in the Uuskalamehe district in Pärnu, with a cost of 4.8 million euros, at the address Suur-Jõe 28A.

"The conclusion of the construction contract for the last building planned in the district marks an important milestone in the complete development of the Uuskalamehe quarter. We are pleased to soon be able to offer a fully completed modern living environment by the Pärnu River. Even greater joy comes from the positive feedback from buyers and the fact that one of them liked the architectural language and location of the buildings so much that it became the deciding factor to move from Tallinn to Pärnu and create their new home right in the Uuskalamehe district," noted Ingmar Saksing, project leader and member of the management board of LVM Kinnisvara, which handles the sale of apartments.

The Uuskalamehe quarter, designed by architecture firm Arhitekt11, consists of three residential buildings located by the river, containing a total of 69 apartments. The total investment of the project exceeds 12 million euros. The first building was completed in 2025, the second will be completed in August 2026, and the final building will be completed in the summer of 2027.

The district has developed into a modern riverside living environment where industrial heritage meets contemporary architecture and lifestyle. "The Uuskalamehe development appeals to buyers who value a living environment with character – industrial heritage, proximity to water, and a sense of community, similar to the Kalamaja area in Tallinn," noted Saksing.

The developer of the quarter is OÜ Kooli Investeeringud, among whose owners are LVM Kinnisvara together with partners, and the author of the architectural solution is the renowned architecture firm Arhitekt 11.
