Capital Mill Held Topping-Out Ceremony for Telliskivi 8 Development
Today, September 11, Capital Mill held a topping-out ceremony at Telliskivi 8 apartment building, marking the completion of construction work to the building's maximum height. In the modern residential development rising on the border of Pelgulinn and Kalamaja, a total of 12 contemporary homes will be completed by the beginning of next year.
"The topping-out ceremony marks an important milestone in the construction process. We are pleased that construction at Telliskivi 8 is progressing as planned, and soon we will be able to offer new quality homes in one of Tallinn's most beloved neighborhoods," said Capital Mill's construction manager Taavi Kiisk.
"The location of Telliskivi 8 offers the quality of city living – in the immediate vicinity are Telliskivi Creative City, Balti Jaam Market, restaurants and art galleries," added Kiisk. Telliskivi 8 is a unique development that combines the character of the neighborhood, contemporary architecture and comfortable living. The street-facing renovated building and the completely new courtyard building create different layouts for families with different lifestyles.
The new development features a private green-filled courtyard, parking and a playground. Additionally, the courtyard includes a bicycle shelter to provide extra convenience for cyclists.
"Telliskivi 8 has generated strong interest already in the pre-sale phase – larger and more spacious apartments have quickly found interested families. As of today, only three apartments remain available in the courtyard building, which confirms the development's good market reception," said construction manager Taavi Kiisk. "Moreover, now is a good time for home buyers – banks are offering more flexible terms and interest rates are at their lowest level in recent years.
Construction of Telliskivi 8 began in March 2025 and the buildings are scheduled for completion in January 2026. The construction work is carried out by Remart Ehitus OÜ and the development is completed in cooperation with DVF Estate OÜ.
