Capfield OÜ, a shopping center owner and developer, has completed a comprehensive reconstruction of the former Pärnu Maxima XXX building and transformed the grocery store into a modern shopping center in the heart of Pärnu, where the Swedish world-famous furniture retailer IKEA recently opened a store.

"This is the first unique concept IKEA store in Pärnu and also in the entire region – Pärnu IKEA offers a customer-centric shopping experience that is tailored to the needs of the local community," commented Reimo Simsalu, head of real estate and business development at Capfield.

According to Simsalu, as a developer and owner, Capfield is particularly pleased that Suve Keskus was reopened fully leased with strong and well-known anchor tenants. The center now continues to operate with Maxima, the newly arrived 1500 m2 IKEA on Pärnu's market, and in addition a selection of smaller shops and services that meet the needs of both local residents and visitors from further away.

"Capfield's commercial real estate development strategy aims to make commercial spaces as viable as possible and high-yielding assets, and to bring internationally recognized brands closer to smaller Estonian communities," added Simsalu.

Capfield OÜ is a shopping center owner and developer whose portfolio is one of the largest in Estonia, ranging from Tallinn city center to the suburbs and beyond Tallinn to Pärnu. The largest anchor tenants make up 65% of the entire portfolio's rental space and include local and international brands such as Bauhaus, IKEA, Prisma, Rimi Hyper, H&M, Tradehouse, KFC, Burger King, Nike Outlet, SportsDirect.com, Deichmann, Douglas, Hemtex, Selver, Maxima, Denim Dream, Jysk, Euronics, Apollo bookstores, LPP fashion brands House, Sinsay and Cropp, and other notable tenants.
