Bonava Creates Kirsiõue Neighborhood in Saku Town
Bonava, which has so far developed new homes in Tallinn, Estonia, is now creating the next new residential area in Harjumaa, in the Saku town at Soo tee 3 and 5 properties. In the first phase of the Kirsiõue neighborhood, 64 apartments will be completed in two 4-storey buildings with A energy class, ready for occupancy in the summer of 2026.
"Bonava develops new homes in already established residential areas that have the main characteristics of good urban space. This means that necessary services and leisure activities are nearby and easily accessible, and there are also good connections to surrounding areas. Saku is an excellent example of such an environment – living in a quieter area, you still have everything you need close to home and don't necessarily have to make every trip by car," explained Bonava CEO Taavi Soorm regarding the location choice of the new project.
"The future residents of the Kirsiõue residential area will be able to walk or cycle along pedestrian and cycling paths to shops and cafes or a health center, children can safely go to school and hobby clubs on their own, and there are green spaces and fitness trails nearby for leisure time. Saku has a good and fast connection to the capital, so it is also an attractive option for current Tallinn residents who would prefer a more homey living environment," described Bonava Sales and Marketing Director Lauri Laanoja the advantages of the new neighborhood.
The Kirsiõue apartments are assigned a particularly energy-efficient A energy class and offer convenient living arrangements with parking in the residential courtyard and a storage room on the first floor. In the Kirsiõue residents' courtyard, there will be a recreation area, a children's playground, and a picnic area with a pergola and grilling facilities. A connection to existing pedestrian and cycling paths will be created from the courtyard, and children will have the opportunity to safely cycle to school from home.
In the first phase of the project, 64 two- to four-room apartments ranging in size from 43.2 to 82.1 m² will be put on sale. In total, 7 apartment buildings with 175 homes are planned in the Kirsiõue area.
