Bonava Estonia began construction of a 44-apartment B-energy class building at Aiandi 14 in the Uus-Mustamäe residential area. The apartment building will be completed by the end of 2024 and is the eighth phase of the Uus-Mustamäe development. Bonava has already built 500 apartments in the area so far.

According to Bonava Estonia CEO Taavi Soorm, there is still a need for new quality apartments, with the greatest demand precisely in the Mustamäe area – even today, when the real estate sector is still in a difficult situation.

"Starting construction at Aiandi 14 is a sign that the market has achieved sufficient stability, which gives us confidence as developers to start new phases," said CEO Taavi Soorm. "All of Bonava's development decisions depend greatly on the sales of previous phases and incoming customer interest. In Uus-Mustamäe, this has been consistently strong, which indicates that there is a need for new homes in the area," said Soorm, and explained that demand for new apartments in Mustamäe has always been greater than in other areas of Tallinn, because the vast majority of real estate there is nearly 50 years old and new projects in the district are relatively rare.

At Aiandi 14, modern 1-4 room apartments will be completed, ranging in size from 28.4-112.3 m2, with the largest being attic apartments spanning two floors. Floor-to-ceiling windows add openness to the homes, and each apartment includes a balcony or terrace. The building has been assigned a B-energy class designation, which means these are particularly energy-efficient homes.

Bonava has built a completely new Uus-Mustamäe neighborhood on the old Kadaka aiandi grounds, where over 500 apartments have been completed to date. Later this year, Bonava will complete 65 apartments for sale in Uus-Mustamäe, located at Aiandi 16, of which more than half have already found owners. Additionally, this autumn the housing developer's first 99 apartments intended exclusively for rental will be completed on Aiandi Street.

Uus-Mustamäe, where the first homes were completed in 2020 and a total of 750 apartments will be completed, is the most modern integrated residential area in Mustamäe. The heart of the neighborhood is a nearly 7000 square meter park, where the whole family can find shared recreational opportunities.
