Housing development company Bonava has started selling new homes in Uus-Mustamäe. At the Aiandi 16 property, a 4- and 8-storey residential building will be built with a total of 65 apartments. The new homes will be ready for move-in in autumn 2023.

According to Lauri Laanoja, Bonava Estonia's sales and marketing director, the sale of homes at Aiandi 16 will certainly provide relief to the shortage of new apartments. "Whereas in previous years, Tallinn has consistently had an average of 2,800 new homes on the market, as of March of this year, there were only 1,359. For home buyers, the sale of Aiandi 16 homes in Uus-Mustamäe is certainly good news, as it brings more choice to a recently dried-up new apartment market in a valued neighborhood," added Laanoja.

The 1-4-room Aiandi 16 homes are carefully designed and have convenient layouts, with each home featuring a balcony. Daily comfort is provided by a guaranteed parking space and a spacious storage room where you can store larger sports equipment, a stroller, or seasonal items.

Bonava has spent years researching what makes people happy in their homes and what makes a happy neighborhood. Estonian people also value the space outside the apartment – a balcony and green areas where you can spend time with family and neighbors.

"We see that the Uus-Mustamäe neighborhood appeals both to young people buying their first home and to families who want to live in the city, but at the same time away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, and for whom a complete living environment, proximity to schools and kindergartens, various leisure opportunities, and quick access to the city center are important," commented Laanoja.

Thanks to the new Aiandi street, residents of the area have convenient access to their homes from both Mustamäe Road and Laki Street. Near the homes are schools and kindergartens, a hobby school, Mustika Center shops, a sports club, a cinema, and Mustamäe Center.

Uus-Mustamäe is currently probably Estonia's largest ongoing residential development project. The first Uus-Mustamäe homes were completed a couple of years ago, and the entire residential area with approximately 900 homes

will be completed by 2025. The heart of the neighborhood is a nearly 7,000-square-meter park with diverse sports and leisure facilities, including playgrounds, fruit trees, and a picnic area. The park, opening this summer, is a gift to the residents of the Mustamäe district, which is celebrating its 60th birthday this year.
