Housing development company Bonava is building Pikaliiva Kaarmaja in Haabersti, near Lake Harku, shaped like a horseshoe. Over the next three years, the area will see four apartment buildings with 160 homes built in two phases, creating a complete living environment.

Pikaliiva Kaarmaja consists of four buildings forming a semicircle, with a peaceful courtyard at its heart. The 4-story buildings will have one- to four-room apartments ranging in size from 24-84 m². Each building has a balcony or terrace, and solar panels are installed on the roofs of the buildings, ensuring energy efficiency. Most of the parking spaces are located in an underground garage, adding openness to the courtyard area and providing residents with daily convenience.

„Based on the current market situation, it can be said that purchasing interest has remained at a high level. In a situation where the supply volumes have decreased, Bonava's momentum has not slowed down. On the contrary – this year we have brought new phases to the market in Uus-Mustamäe and Järveotsa Houses in Haabersti, and we are continuing with all new projects as planned," said Bonava Sales and Marketing Director Lauri Laanoja.

According to Marko Sula, Bonava's project manager for this development, Haabersti is an actively developing and sought-after area in Tallinn's real estate market. "Pikaliiva Kaarmaja has a clear advantage in its location, as it offers a new valuable living environment close to an already established urban space with existing infrastructure and good connections for movement both to the city center and outward from the city. Particularly worth noting is the nearby Lake Harku, which offers excellent opportunities for leisure activities and recreation," said Sula.

Pikaliiva apartment buildings are made energy-efficient and modern through solar panels and a smart home solution that allows you to control your home's heating from a control panel in your home or through a smart device app. The building is assigned a B energy label, which ensures particularly low housing costs. Following green thinking, all interior courtyard paths are made of porous material to allow rainwater through. The parking area is also located on the edge of the property and made as green as possible – parking spaces are covered with turf and are also permeable, with planting areas for trees and shrubs between the spaces.

Each home includes a separate storage room on the basement level, where it is convenient to store sports equipment or seasonal items. In addition, the basement levels of the buildings also have bicycle and stroller storage rooms. The 79 apartments of the first phase will be completed by the end of next year, and the second phase buildings by the end of 2024.
