A cornerstone was laid in Tallinn's Lasnamäe district for DEPO's second Estonian store, which will be built next to the Tallink Tennis Center. Infortar is investing 27 million euros in the construction of a 30,000 square meter building, repair and leisure goods center. The new DEPO is scheduled to open in spring next year.

„In recent years, we have increasingly invested in large-scale logistics and retail spaces where good location and long-term cooperation with a strong partner are important. Last year we handed over a 25,000 square meter logistics center in Laagri to Rimi, and now we are building a new center for DEPO with office spaces as the second phase of the Mustakivi property development. With such projects, Infortar has grown into one of the largest real estate owners in the Baltics," noted Ain Hanschmidt, Chairman of Infortar's Board.

The DEPO center being built in Lasnamäe will have over 600 parking spaces. During the project, several intersections and access roads in the area will be reconstructed and a new street will be built to ensure smoother and safer traffic management in the district.

According to Rimants Jugans, DEPO's marketing director, the company sees room for further growth in Tallinn.

„Our first Estonian store has proven itself to be a successful place where Estonian people draw ideas and inspiration, finding solutions to realize their plans.

We have a feeling that people have begun to appreciate our concept – a wide range of goods readily available in large quantities, as well as consistent and stable low-price policy. The DEPO store being built in Tallinn's Lasnamäe is the chain's 18th store.

We are convinced that the second DEPO store in Tallinn will also become a favorite place for those who want to improve their homes, gardens and yards. DEPO's wide range of goods is suitable for both everyday needs – household goods, food products and pet supplies – as well as smaller and larger renovation and construction work," said Jugans.

DEPO is an international company founded in 2004 and currently has 17 stores in the Baltic countries. The company's 2025 revenue reached 680 million euros and DEPO employs more than 3,600 people. DEPO launched a new 70,000 m² logistics center in 2025 to improve and enhance the supply of goods to all DEPO stores in the Baltic countries.

The Mustakivi property development continues Infortar's previous real estate development in Lasnamäe, which is also home to the Tallink Tennis Center. In addition to six office buildings, Infortar's real estate includes four hotels, logistics centers in Maardu and Laagri, and a health village on Hiiumaa. In total, Infortar currently has 46,000 square meters of real estate under development. The value of the group's real estate portfolio reached 225 million euros at the end of last year.
