7 Essential Things in Your Living Room
The summer period means many different things beyond just waiting for beach weather, counting vacation days, and attending festivals. Namely, summer often brings distant visitors and friends who have escaped city noise to countryside homes. If your home is blessed with an extra guest room, we highlight 7 things that should be in that room. So you can really show off your hospitality!
Fresh flowers

Fresh flowers instantly create a cozy and comfortable and welcoming feeling. Choose something seasonal for your vase and if possible, always beautiful wildflowers. In addition to the beauty of the flowers, they also bring a pleasant scent to the room, which is never a bad thing!
Trash can
Make sure there is a trash can in the room. This way your expected guests don't have to keep their trash in plastic bags. That's neither nice to look at nor particularly hygienic.
Coat rack

You've surely noticed your own appreciation when visiting somewhere and finding that thought has been given to hanging clothes. If the room has a wardrobe, make sure you can place a few wooden coat hangers there. If there's no wardrobe, you might consider placing a foldable rack in the room.
Tissues
Pay attention to what things you yourself love to use in the morning, evening, and even at night. One of these is certainly tissues - helpful for many purposes.
Towels
Definitely place at least two different-sized towels in the room - one larger one for drying the body and one smaller one for hands, face, and other purposes.
Water
It's a very thoughtful gesture to bring quality water to the guest room along with glasses. Many people love to drink a glass of water before bed or first thing in the morning. It's nice when the host has thought of this.
Bathrobe

A large bathrobe is also one of those things your guests would be happy about. It's nice to throw around yourself if, for example, you need to leave the room at night.
When furnishing a guest room, keep in mind first and foremost yourself and a bit of an outsider's perspective. Treat your guests exactly as you would want to be treated! We all want to feel welcome.
