Järveotsa Homes Rising in Haabersti
Rising in Haaberstis, Järveotsa Kodud add momentum to the area's development.
Housing development company Bonava is building new Järveotsa Kodud in Haaberstis, near Lake Hark. Over the next four years, five apartment buildings with 174 apartments will be erected in three phases in the area, along with a complete living environment featuring thoughtfully designed recreation and play areas and access roads to health trails.
Construction of Järveotsa Kodud began in autumn 2020, and by the end of this week, the first 5-storey building located at Tasandi 8 will reach its full height, with new homes ready for occupancy by year's end. Now the second phase of the residential area is being launched, during which 5- and 8-storey buildings will be erected at Tasandi 1 and 3 addresses, creating 74 two to four-room homes.
„Although today's real estate market may show signs of shortage, Bonava has not halted any projects even during pandemic conditions and we continue to bring new developments to market as planned this year. Despite the fact that several new developments have been built near Lake Hark in recent years, buyer interest in the area continues and there is clearly demand for quality suburban homes at accessible prices. In the first phase of Järveotsa Kodud, two-thirds of the homes have already been sold or interested buyers have been found," confirmed Timo Riismaa, Executive Director of Bonava Estonia.

Together with thoughtfully designed recreation and play areas, we are creating a complete living environment for future residents, where parking has been safely moved beneath the buildings and around the property boundaries, and during construction we will also develop a new Tasandi street. It is also our priority to authentically preserve and renovate the Järveotsa stream bordering the property, which together with the health trail creates added value and unique character for the entire area," added Lauri Laanoja, Bonava's Sales and Marketing Director, highlighting the benefits.
Järveotsa Kodud will feature modern and functional 2-4-room homes ranging in size from 40-80.7 m². Each apartment comes with a balcony, storage room and guaranteed parking space; the buildings have been assigned energy-efficient B energy class, which ensures low utility costs. Unlike the first phase, the new homes at Tasandi 1 and 3 are equipped with water floor heating.
The first building at Tasandi 8 will be completed by the end of this year and the second phase buildings in autumn 2022. The entire residential area with five apartment buildings and 174 apartments will be completed in 2024. Järveotsa Kodud is a modern and family-friendly neighborhood in Haaberstis, with a unique natural setting in the Astangu district near Lake Hark, which has quick connections to the city center and diverse leisure opportunities both in nature, at sports clubs and on health trails. Close to home are grocery stores, schools and kindergartens, and Rocca al Mare Shopping Center, Saku Suurhall and Tallinn Zoo are only a short drive away. In the coming years, Tallinn city plans to build a 13 km long green corridor from North Tallinn to Astangu with vegetation supporting biodiversity, recreation areas and various mobility options.
