5 Steps to Create Order in the Kitchen

The kitchen is the heart of the home. You spend quite a lot of time there and it's where delicious dinners are prepared, lovely weekend pancakes are made, and fun brunches with friends take place. However, in order for everything to run smoothly, you need to keep this room in order and that sometimes seems quite impossible. How do you create a kitchen environment that inspires, invites, and practically radiates the warmth of home?
Review your dishes
Plates from four different sets that don't match each other don't add anything to your life. Invest in quality and know that, for example, white plates are always timeless, add appeal to every dish, and are easy to replace when broken.

Mugs
Gifted mugs, mugs from trips, souvenir mugs, mugs with politicians' pictures. Sound familiar? Let each family member choose their favorite mug, add them to the set meant for serving coffee to guests, and get rid of the rest. However, if you have more valuable mugs, store them somewhere else for a while. If you haven't missed them over the course of half a year, let them go.
Drawers
We tend to buy all sorts of kitchen items, even ones we don't actually use. When did you last use the vegetable spiralizer? If you can't remember, get rid of it! The same applies to everything else that takes up space in your drawer but doesn't serve a real purpose. Or will you finally learn to make ravioli yourself and the molds will finally find use?

Textiles
Treat yourself and replace your holey and overly worn kitchen towels with new and fresh ones. They don't cost much, but they add a lot to your kitchen and your work, and refresh the look of your kitchen instantly!
Also consider the option of forgetting paper napkins forever and replacing them with elegant fabric napkins. They instantly add a touch of luxury to every dinner and best of all—they support an environmentally conscious way of thinking. If store-bought ones seem too expensive to you, know that making them yourself won't break the bank either.

Spices
We all have plenty of them! But actually, only a few would be enough for everyday cooking. Look critically at your spices, throw away immediately those whose expiration date has long passed, and be decisive about those that haven't made it into any food in ages.
