* Go to a music store and buy a "home music" album! You can sometimes find these in interior design stores and even Zara Home has quite a few in their selection.
Coziness
is important! You might already have it in your home without even realizing it, but still we'll highlight some points that will help you achieve the right cozy, homey atmosphere.
* Add candles to your home, lots of candles. Everywhere! On windowsills, on the TV table, on the wine rack, on the coffee table, on walls. Everywhere! When evening arrives, turn off the ceiling light and light some candles.
* Ambient lighting is almost as important as candles. Ambient lighting is light that rather illuminates small areas. A reading lamp next to your favorite armchair or small lamps on shelves that don't have a specific purpose. A clever way is to also hang various strings of light bulbs in your home - they do a great job!
Scent
Every home has its own scent, which is a mix of things we have in our home. Family members' favorite perfumes, last night's dinner, and a fun weekend in the forest. We can't create this scent ourselves or choose what scents go into it. However, we can choose different home fragrances for ourselves!
Interior design stores have a large selection of different home fragrances, which are mostly glass containers with a scent, into which bamboo sticks have been inserted. By placing these in your home, you'll always ensure a pleasant and nice home scent!
Keep in mind that family members will get used to this scent quickly, but that doesn't mean the fragrance diffuser stops working. However, it will continue to delight your guests every time!
